They live and work on unceded Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, and səlilwətaʔɬ land.

Rev. Frances Kitson (she/her)
Rev. Frances Kitson brings a deep love for both the sanctuary and the stage to her ministry. Long before answering the call to ministry, the theatre captured her heart. Following a passion for acting that began in her early teens, Frances earned a BA in Drama from the University of Alberta and a BFA in Theatre from Simon Fraser University. After gaining a beautifully varied array of life experience, from working as an actor to providing first aid on construction sites, she found her way to the Vancouver School of Theology.
Today, the love of the theatre remains deeply woven into her pastoral identity. She operates on the core belief that, just like any art form, performance skills can be taught and refined; while talent is innate, skills are built. Frances acknowledges with humility and gratitude that she lives and worships on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council.

Rev. Dr. Beverly Brazier (she/her)
An ordained United Church minister and gifted biblical storyteller, Rev. Dr. Beverly Brazier believes in the power of a story well told to heal individuals and systems. Born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Bev is rooted in the Precambrian Shield, yet even more deeply grounded in the grace of the Holy One. Serving from the Maritimes to the Arctic since 1984, she strives to be deeply attentive to the needs of the places she inhabits, nurturing the church to be a centre point of peace and action. Now moving into a deepening practice of silence and gratitude, she brings a listening heart to her role as Festival Chaplain and workshop leader. Beverly invites us to explore alternative forms of "ecclesia," reimagining together what it means to gather in the Spirit, both inside our buildings and beyond their walls.
